Shakopee West Middle School is one of two middle schools in the district that collectively serves 1,700 students in grades 6-8. Centrally located on 10th Avenue and home to Vaughan Field, the Kathy Carlson Aquatic Center, and the Neil Johnson Softball Fields, West Middle School is committed to creating meaningful relationships and a sense of belonging for all students and staff. With various gateway courses, pathways, activities and athletic opportunities, every student has the opportunity to find their passion and is fully supported throughout this pivotal time.
